Profluorid Varnish is a moisture-tolerant colophony-based varnish containing 5 % sodium fluoride (22,600 ppm fluoride). As well as rapidly sealing the dentinal tubules, VOCO Profluorid Varnish also causes calcium fluoride deposits to form on the tooth surface. These deposits protect the tooth from acid attacks, promote remineralisation and contribute to the long-term formation of fluoroapatite.
